PCRA Competitive Summer training begins June 19th
TRAINING FACILITIES
Our boathouse is located on Glen Island in New Rochelle. In the case of inclement weather, Race Team practices may move to our indoor training facility located at 89 Wolfs Lane in Pelham.
FALL PRESEASON WILL BE THE WEEK OF AUGUST 28TH
RACE TEAM
June 19th - July 28th, 2023
Race Team is our Varsity AND novice competitive team in the Summer season. This team is open to High Schoolers with previous rowing experience. Athletes that wish to participate on race team without previous rowing experience must reach out to our administrators at admin@pcrarowing.com for assistance. Attendance at all practices is required; absences will impact race participation.

Regular Season: June 19th - July 28th 2023
June 19th - June 23rd (Monday-Friday)
Boys - 4:00pm - 6:30pm
Girls - 4:15pm - 6:45pm
June 26th - July 28th (Monday-Friday)
Both teams - 6:00am - 8:30am
Boys - Mon & Wed afternoon 4:30pm - 6:00pm
Girls - Tues & Thurs afternoon 4:30pm - 6:00pm

**USRowing Summer Nationals - Bethel, Ohio - July 12th - 14th
Practice on course July 12th
Racing on July 13th and 14th
**We will only make the trip if the coaches determine we have the necessary speed to be competitive at the regatta. SELECT CREWS ONLY
Athletes attending this regatta may be subject to additional regatta fees
Philly Youth Regatta - Philadelphia, PA - July 22nd

SMOOTH SCULLING
June 26th - August 3rd
PCRA’s smooth sculling program is our non competitive program for experienced athletes. Athletes from race, novice, and development 2 are approved for this program. Development 1 athletes and those new to the club can reach out to us at admin@pcrarowing.com for approval before joining. Practices are held in the evenings Monday - Thursday and the program runs from late June through the first week of August.
Monday - Thursday 5:30pm - 7:30pm
No practices July 3rd and 4th
