Youth Rowing Programs
Welcome to PCRA's Youth Rowing Program! PCRA draws students from more than 10 Westchester area high schools as well as New York City. We are a club of approximately 160 athletes who compete at the Novice, JV, and Varsity level. PCRA rows out of Westchester County’s Glen Island Park on the 1964 Olympic Trials Course.
Winter rowing 2017-2018
PCRA Winter training begins November 27th at our new indoor training facility located in the New Rochelle YMCA! Varsity, Intermediate, and Development teams will begin a twelve week training session in preparation for the Spring championship season beginning March 5th. Registration is live, and this program is currently underway.
Spring rowing 2018
PCRA spring training begins March 5th at our boathouse on Glen Island. Our program options include performance based race programs, technique focused development programs, or casual recreational rowing. Registration will soon be live through our BlueSombrero portal.
Summer rowing 2018
PCRA Summer rowing begins June 18th for the race team. We have an array of programs available to fit your experience. Brand new to rowing, or looking to hone your technique and improve your fitness, we offer what you need to achieve your goals!
Fall Rowing 2018
PCRA Fall rowing begins with a pre-season in the last week of August. Our program options include performance based race programs, technique focused development programs, or casual recreational rowing. Registration will soon be live through our BlueSombrero portal.
Our club offers private lessons with great coaches. Whether a beginner wishing to try rowing for a session, or a current member looking for more one-on-one focus outside of practice, private lessons can be a great way to get ahead.
